Nic's Tour through the Philippines
As some of you might already know, Nic is leaving to do a tour in the Philippines to promote his solo album. We just want to wish him the best and hopeit all goes well. He will be playing out to promote his solo album mostly but he will also be promoting StarryEYES as well of course. If you want to keep in touch with how his tour is going feel free to visit his webpage @ www.nicweethee.com. In the meantime we have a lot of work to do in order to get ready for a big show we have coming up Sept 17th in Silverlake, CA. We have a new drummer now, so we've got a lot of ground to cover. AND....We are still in Pre-Production of the new Ep, which we are planning to release in January or February. We will be sure to keep you posted on anything and everything as always.....<3
Auditioning Drummers
Hey friends. This is Nic reporting in to let you know we recently had our drummer quit the band due to personal issues. So we are now looking for his replacement.
I will be leaving for three weeks to do a solo tour in the Phillippines to promote my new solo album. In the meantime the band members will be working on new material and auditioning drummers. If you or someone you know would like to try out, feel free to email Louie: louieveee@gmail.com. Thanks for keeping in touch with the band and always checking the site for updates. Cheers, <3Acoustic Show in Arcadia
As you might already know we played an acoustic show @ the Westfield Mall in Arcadia, CA yesterday. It was a new and interesting experience for us, but overall it was a fun time. It was a bit crowded while we were playing because we had to play in the corner and we had to makeshift a mic stand. haha. The girls modeling did really well and looked great in the new Back To School clothing made by Sidecca. We want to again thank Sidecca and its employees for asking us to play at their event. It was interesting to know that they had a band called Paramore play at an event they did before we played there. So thanks for thinking of us guys. We appreciate the exposure. Anyways the new webisode is up so please check it out-------->
Thanks <3
Back to School Fashion Show Plus new Webisode

We are finally back safe and sound from our trip through the west coast. We had some very interesting things happen to us on tour and we met some really cool people along the way. One of which was Eric Gutierrez who we are naming our Fan of The Month for July. We met Eric in Bakersfield while we were on a break getting some food at a mexican restaurant about an hour or so before we were set to play. Anyway, we invited him to the show and he actually ended up our drum tech for the evening. It turns out that kid is a pretty good drummer. If there are any good bands out in Bakersfield who need a solid drummer you should hit our boy Eric up. He works at Taco Del MAr in Bakersfield, CA.
The Trip To Chico
As of 2pm yesterday we have been stranded in Ashland, OR. And the reason why you may ask, well turns out our van couldn't pull our trailer up through the Mountains. And we were so close to the California boarder. Anyways we were not able to make it to our show in Chico, CA. But we are not ending the tour on that note. We will be stopping in Lodi, CA to put on a secret show.ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Its July 7th, and we just pulled into Medforrd, OR to stay for the night. We have a 4 hour drive to Chico tmrw where we will be playing the last show of our tour. We are going to post up the footage from our show last night in Seattle. But be sure to tune in the following day because we will have an extended webisode with footage from the trip to Medford today and the footage we shoot tomorrow in Chico. So be sure to check back in and see all the shananigans that take place. In the mean time stay cool. Thanks.4th of July
4th of July was a very fun day for us. We got to play our music at the very beautiful Drake Park. Our sound guys on the mains were great but the monitor engineer was a jerk. But we made the most of it and had a good time. Thanks again to Lisa's Mom Dorry for having us. The after party was a blast. Thanks for all your hospitality. Hope to see you guys in Bend, OR again soon.Bend Or Bust
After blowing out a tire on our tour trailer this afternoon we realised we would not be making it in time to play our set at The Silvermoon in Bend, OR. We ended up getting into town at 1 am. Which was great cause at least we made it for last call with our friends. Lets just say it was an extra ordinary day and very eventful. Check the webisode for some of the footage.STOCKTON, CA
So the first day on tour we saw a pair of boobies!!! That was cool. Day 2 was quite interesting as well. We all had a fabtastic time. However apparently Louie and Davey saw a girl being violated in the parking lot of the venue as we were loading our gear out. Then the ambulance came. So we had to wait until the ambulance left to get our van in to load out our gear and .We didn't end up leaving the venue till 3:30 am. Needless to say the tour is off to a very interesting start. On a lighter note, everyone that played last night sounded great. Thank you to Peter and Corbin for letting us put on our show at their venue. It was a lot of fun and I also want to thank all the fans who made it out. And also thank you to Sarah and Chalen for helping us out at the show. New Webisode------------>BAKERSFIELD, CA
Hey guys. Last nights show at Rockstarz was awesome. Props to the guys from Versa and Automatic Redial. You guys killed it. Thank you to all the new friends we made out in Bake-Town!!! And a big shout out to Eric. Thanks for coming out to help do tech work for us, you rock dude. And to the lady who stole th shirt we were going to give to the venue owner, you suck. haha. just kidding. But seriously you owe us 20 bucks. Anyways the show was a lot of fun and we hope to come back and play for you guys again soon. Check the webisode next door for the footage from yesterday!!! See you next time.

Thursday MARCH 25th
Hello friends. We have a show @ Cranes Tavern in Hollywood, CA on Thursday March 25th. That is this thursday. So please try to make it to this show and give our newest band members (Davey and Donnie) some Mudafuggin support. This is a FREEEEE showcase so if yall are broke like us then this is the one show you will want to make it to. We love you guys so thank you so much for the support.
Guitar Merchant Show Cancelled
An interesting situation came up about the show on Saturday and unfortunately the show was cancelled because a few of the bands couldnt bring out the 15 person minimum required to play there and if they didn't they would have to pay the venue. We had no idea the bands were going to have to sign a contract to play at this place and as soon as they found out about it they bailed on doing the show with us. So in turn we cancelled on playing because it seemed unfair. I want to apologize to th guitar merchant for this and I want to also say I am very sorry to our fans in Canoga Park. Hopefully we will get a chance to play another show that is local to you guys again soon. In the meantime take care and we will let you know about the next one.
-Cheers-

IN THE STUDIO
Its been about a year since I began working on the new album and so far it is sounding good my friends. I am affraid it is going to be an anticipated album though for three reasons. I wont be releaseing it until either late 2010 or mid 2011, I want to write an albm with the new band, and I have found myself writing another completely different sounding album along the way. Something entirely new and organic. A lot of my time has been focused on recording and putting the band back together as well as rehearsing with the new members. The lineup has been changing for the past 6 months drastically but I feel like right now the right people are in this project and for the right reasons. And what is that KIDS.......for the love of MUSIC !!!! Thats right. hahahaha. I think you will all really love the new band. They are all fun people full of talent. I can't wait to start writing the next album with them. So that is the latest in the world of StarryEYES. Thank you so much for checking in occassionally and seeing what we are up to. We have rehearsal in a little bit so I have to say goodby and get ready for that. God Bless. -Nic
June 02, 2009
I want to give a big thanks to everyone that made it out to our show on May 22nd. We had a very good size crowd come out. We also want to thank all the bands that played as well. Everyone sounded great and we are going to have to do this again very soon. Please watch Webisode 8 to see how the show went. There will also be footage from an acoustic show we played at a small cafe in Pasadena a few days later. I appologize for not being able to get any footage of us playing at the show on May 22nd but we didn't have anyone grab the camera and video it since everyone was too busy rocking out to our set. I am sure I will recover some pictures from that night so I will try to find time to post a few of them in the gallery.

Last wednesday night my good friends Ryan Jones, Joseph Eid and I began doing an Open Mic night at the Lucky Strike Bowl in Hollywood. The first night turned out to be a lot of fun. We will be hosting it every wedneasday evening in Lucky Srtike's Private Lounge, where there is a full bar and food served until midnight. Here is the flyer in case any of you would like to attend
Email us to make reservations before hand at luckystrikeopenmic@gmail.com.
On a side note I would like to inform you all that I have been locking myself in the studio for days at a time working on the third album. Its becoming a bit monotonous spending so much time in the cave recording and mixing but so far overall the new album is sounding good. I can't wait for you all to hear it. I would also like to let everyone know about the monthly StarryEYES Jam Night that is going down this Saturday Night Feb. 28th @ The PaRk in Burbank, CA.
Check out this new pic (removed)
The shows that I played this last wekend at The Cellar Door were a lot of fun. And I want to thank the owner Vanessa for having me. Here is a picture I aquired from my mother who was able to be at the show. I hope everyone had a great time and I promise that the next time I have to play for three hours I wont let my voice crack on the last song...haha. Cheers, NicSaying HELLO to 2009 !!!
StarryEYES has made it through another year. 2008 was an interesting year. I met a lot of new musicians whom I had the pleasure of touring and playing shows with around California. I want to say thank you to my friends and fans who made 2008 a special year for StarryEYES. Also a thank you to my friends Tom Craven and Joseph Eid for joining me in my annual NorCal tour that took place in September. I want to appologize for taking time off from doing shows since December. I have been focusing on writing new material for the third album which I am planning to release at the end of this year. Everything is sounding good so far and I can't wait to release it for you all to hear. In the meantime I have two shows coming up Jan. 23rd and 24th @ The Cellar Door in NorCal. And on Tuesday Jan. 27th I will be playing at TrueLove in Sacramento, CA. My next appearance will be in Burbank, CA. @ The PaRk on February 28th. Thats all I have to say right now. I will keep you posted on new developments as they come. -Nic
